Rachel Mathieu is an actor, writer, dancer, musician, and published model based out of Los Angeles, California. She holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Southern California, one in theatre from the School of Dramatic Arts and one in design from Roski School of Art and Design.
Rachel was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was introduced to the performing arts at a young age, beginning her education in acting, classical piano, and ballet by the age of 5. Rachel performed in musicals, ballets, plays, and vocal groups, receiving acting instruction from the Tony-award winning Alliance Theatre, as well as dance training through Joffrey Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and Covington Regional Ballet.
Since graduating from USC, Rachel has continued classes in on-camera performance, audition technique, improv, and writing (Stan Kirsch, Upright Citizens Brigade, Script Anatomy) while working on various commercial and theatrical projects: Zoltar Santa (Team Downey), L'intemporelle (100 Flicks), Unattached (Fort Productions). She also serves as the Executive Producer and President of Elephant Department, a Los Angeles based sketch comedy group, where she writes and performs comedy for live shows, filmed sketches, and brand partnerships.
